Jessica Johnson’s practice spans privacy and digital risk and cybersecurity. She advises clients across various industries regarding compliance with federal, state and international data security laws.
Diligent and organized, Jessica guides clients across various industries through data security matters, including coordinating digital forensic investigations, determining breach notification obligations and responding to regulatory inquiries. She has experience assisting clients through the legal obligations and risks arising out of business email compromise, ransomware and other data security incidents. She also counsels clients on the safeguards necessary to avoid future incidents, including tabletop crisis simulations and drafting comprehensive, proactive incident response plans.
In addition, Jessica regularly works with clients on developing privacy compliance programs designed to satisfy applicable obligations under all U.S. federal and state and international privacy laws. She works with clients to revise online privacy notices, implement processes to respond to consumer rights requests and amend vendor contract templates to comply with the new regulations.
