Ewa Champagne is an accomplished Counsel who advises private equity and life science companies on issues related to corporate governance and contract negotiations. She incorporates her experience as a tax consultant and auditor to develop an understanding of the client’s business goals and works closely with the legal and business teams to provide practical and cost-effective advice. Ewa is instrumental in developing cutting-edge, technology-based solutions for clients, keeping up with – and transcending – current trends and practices of many other firms. She also leads the charge for handling clients’ compliance matters, including AML and KYC, analyzing the risk profile of clients’ counterparties and co-investors.
Ewa leads the General Counsel Services team that is dedicated to offering long-term, continuous support to public and private companies with complex contract negotiation and corporate governance matters. She has extensive experience in the negotiation of diligence agreements related to M&A transactions.
