Counsel Betsy Cohen and law clerk Betsy Hicks will speak about “Legal Liabilities Facing Physicians Prescribing Opioids in Georgia” at a Medical Association of Georgia continuing education program on Oct. 10 in Atlanta.
Titled “Protecting Your Medical Practice from Legal Risks Related to Opioid Prescribing,” the course will help Drug Enforcement Administration-registered healthcare practitioners complete some of the newly mandated training concerning the treatment and management of patients with opioid and other substance use disorders.
