Partners Steven Goldberg and Bryan Wasser led a team that included corporate associates David Marella, Shelby Shearon and Colson Ginger in the cross-border representation of Motul S.A., a French manufacturer and distributor of high-performance lubricants, in its global acquisition of California-based Chem Arrow Corporation, a large manufacturer of metalworking fluids, lubricants, industrial cleaners and specialty chemical products with subsidiaries in the UK and Canada. The acquisition combines two leading manufacturers in the global metalworking fluids market and enables Motul to offer an expanded range of products to existing clients, increase its presence in the U.S. market and acquire new technologies vital to the HVAC market. The U.S. is currently the world’s leading market for metalworking fluids, valued at $2.8 billion.
