David Marella is an accomplished attorney who handles mergers and acquisitions matters for public and private companies, financial institutions and government agencies. He concentrates on stock and asset purchase transactions, cross-border transactions, corporate governance matters and private equity and venture capital funding. David sees the big picture on each transaction, addressing deals from a businessperson’s perspective and understanding a client’s needs commercially, financially and politically.

In 2017, David worked for the White House Office of National Drug Control Policy, a component of the Executive Office of the President. There, he served as advisor to the Executive Director of the President’s Commission, advising then-Governor Chris Christie of New Jersey as he chaired the bipartisan President’s Commission on Combatting Drug Addiction and the Opioid Crisis.
