The Private Equity team represents venture capital and private equity funds, as well as their portfolio companies, of all types and in all industries, on transactions across the United States and internationally. Our team deals are done cost-effectively and in a timely fashion. We focus on the essentials and prioritize getting deals done, drawing on the experience of more than 250 business attorneys coast to coast. Clients trust us to guide them through critical issues involving tax, real estate, intellectual property, debt finance, ERISA and environmental law.

  • Represented long-standing client Blue Point Capital Partners in its acquisition of Europa Eyewear, an independent eyewear company, and its acquisition of eyebobs, a leader in premium reading glasses.
  • Represented Cyprium Investment Partners LLC in its sale of Endura Products LLC to Masonite International Corp. (NYSE: DOOR) for approximately $375 million in cash.
  • Represented Surge Private Equity LLC in its acquisition of Avalon Document Services, a technology-enabled services company providing e-discovery, cybersecurity, business process outsourcing and document services primarily to law firms and large corporations.
  • Represented Corza Medical Inc., a portfolio company of GTCR, in its acquisition of 100 percent of the membership interests of Barron Precision Instruments.
  • Represented Simpli.fi, a portfolio company of private equity firms GTCR and Blackstone, in its acquisition of Bidtellect.
  • Represented MPE Partners and the other shareholders of MPE Flow House Inc. (the parent company of dlhBowles Inc.) in connection with the sale of the capital stock of dlhBowles Inc. to ABC Technologies, a Canadian public company, for $255 million.
  • Our General Counsel Services team provides daily legal services to TPG Global LLC, a leading private equity firm with billions of dollars in assets under management.
  • Our General Counsel Services team provides daily legal services to Sixth Street Partners LLC, a global multiplatform investment firm with billions of dollars in assets under management.
