Stephen Benz brings significant experience in international arbitration to his practice and is sought out for bet-the-company international commercial arbitrations, investor-State disputes and enforcement and asset recovery litigation. He has represented clients based in Mongolia, Colombia, Canada, the U.K., Singapore and the Philippines in industries that include gaming, construction, energy, fintech, oil and gas and the steel industry, among others.
A former high school teacher, Stephen is an adjunct professor of law at Georgetown University Law Center, where he teaches international commercial arbitration. He is proficient in Portuguese.
