Margaret Hirce focuses her practice on commercial litigation and discovery stage dispute as a member of the BakerHostetler team serving as court-appointed counsel to the Securities Investor Protection Act (SIPA) Trustee for the liquidation of Bernard L. Madoff Investment Securities LLC.
Prior to joining the firm, Margaret worked for KPMG, where she enhanced a global tech company’s compliance analytics products by providing insight into key regulatory risks and government priorities in the areas of anti-corruption, sanctions and securities fraud. She also served as corporate counsel at Pfizer, managing a docket of cases across global operations, including False Claims Act and Anti-Kickback investigations, as well as multidistrict litigation product liability cases.
Margaret previously worked for BakerHostetler from 2013 to 2019 as a member of the White Collar, Investigations and Securities Enforcement and Litigation team.
