Justin Ormand is a commercially minded attorney with deep experience in complex commercial litigation and dispute resolution. He represents clients in a wide range of matters, including contract, corporate governance and business tort disputes, shareholder derivative actions, M&A litigation and bankruptcy adversary proceedings.
Justin has advocated for clients in state and federal courts across the country and before various arbitral bodies, always with a focus on aligning legal strategy with business objectives. From pre-dispute counseling through trial, Justin handles all aspects of litigation and regularly advises transactional teams on litigation risks associated with contemplated, active and closed deals. He also conducts internal investigations for both public and private companies, helping clients navigate sensitive issues with discretion and clarity.
Beyond his client work, Justin is committed to mentorship and service. He has served on firms’ recruiting committees in the past and was also a member of his previous firm’s pro bono committee.
