Hillary Freesmeier is a strong litigator who handles a wide range of labor and employment matters. She has particular experience representing employers and organizations in all aspects of federal and state employment litigation and administrative matters, including employment discrimination claims, harassment claims, FMLA and ADA claims, whistleblower claims and disputes surrounding enforcement and defense of restrictive covenant and confidentiality agreements.
Hillary also provides strategic counsel regarding day-to-day employee matters, including workforce management and interaction, compliance, policy and procedure, hirings and separations, pay and restrictive covenants. Her strengths as a litigator are bolstered by her experience clerking for the Honorable Thomas Q. Langstaff in the U.S. District Court for the Middle District of Georgia and enable her to serve as an astute advocate for clients. Hillary also has experience in negotiating and drafting a wide range of employment focused agreements, including employment, separation and independent contractor agreements.
