Christopher Habashy represents clients in employment disputes, including harassment, discrimination, retaliation and wrongful termination in state and federal courts, arbitration and administrative hearings.
Chris defends employers in single plaintiff wage and hour matters, as well as defending wage and hour class actions. He conducts internal investigations on sensitive employment matters, provides proactive counseling to employers and helps clients navigate the challenges under California employment law to ensure compliance.
Chris is also a critical member of BakerHostetler’s Labor Relations team. He represents clients in a variety of labor matters, from union organizing campaigns to contract negotiation and administration. He’s well-versed in unfair labor practice litigation before the National Labor Relations Board and is valued by clients for his strategic insight.
Chris uses his experience and knowledge of a company’s business to partner with the client to develop a strategy that is practical and consistent with the company’s goals.
