Brigette Dechant focuses her practice on commercial and energy litigation in both state and federal courts. She is experienced in participating in appellate briefings, contributing to a successful trial team and working on pro bono matters. A clerkship for the Southern District of Texas combined with experience as the Chief of Staff for a Texas state representative provided Brigette with a solid platform on which to build her growing practice, which also includes helping clients with blockchain and special purpose vehicle investment matters.
In law school, Brigette was part of the team that prepared oral arguments for Houston Community College Foundation v. Wilson, which secured a unanimous favorable decision by the U.S. Supreme Court.
