A member of the IP Life Sciences and Advanced Materials team, Anna Mirôn has a wealth of patent prosecution experience in the U.S. and abroad. With a doctorate degree in biochemistry from the University of Dundee in Scotland, she focuses on matters pertaining to biochemistry, molecular biology, genomics, cancer therapeutics, biologics and molecular and diagnostic tools.
Anna uses her strong scientific and patent law knowledge to help visionaries in the biotechnology, chemical and pharmaceutical industries manage their valued intellectual property and obtain a granted patent. She is skilled at representing clients from start to finish, including assessing patentability, drafting and filing patent applications and performing investor-side and company-side IP due diligence.
Anna has had several articles published about her research in peer-reviewed journals.
