A member of the IP Technology team, Aman Mann works on user experiences, preparing and prosecuting patent applications regarding graphical user interfaces, operating systems and other systems involving displaying an output corresponding with an user’s input.
Aman previously was a patent examiner with the United States Patent and Trademark Office. He reviewed and examined pending patent applications to evaluate patentability with respect to 35 USC 101, 102, 103 and 112(a) and (b), with an accompanying prior art search, and inspected the applications with respect to the form of the drawings, specification and claims. Aman also conducted interviews with patent attorneys and patent agents to discuss matters related to the prosecution of the patent application. Topics included proposed amendments, proposed arguments and examiner amendments designed to achieve allowability.
