The United States Department of Labor as well as state legislatures have taken an active role in 2023 to regulate wage and hour issues that directly impact employers’ bottom lines and talent recruitment. These issues include setting increased hourly minimum wage rates for non-exempt employees and salary thresholds for exempt employees, and requiring employers to post the hourly rates or salaries for open positions. Minimum wage, salary threshold, pay transparency, and many other wage and hour topics will continue to be a focus for legislatures across the country in 2024, given the national attention to this space.
How can employers best prepare to navigate these changes? Join us for a webinar on December 14 to learn more on some of the recent and upcoming changes in this landscape, and what employers can do to ensure they are in compliance.
Approval for 1.0 hour of CLE credit in CA, NY, PA and TX. FL, GA and OH will be pending. Other states may be available upon request.
This webinar is open to in-house counsel.
