Partner Sashe Dimitroff has been named as the new practice team leader of the International Arbitration and Litigation team following the retirement of Mark Cymrot in December 2023. Dimitroff represents clients in commercial arbitration and litigation matters, with an emphasis on energy disputes, breach of contract, shareholder derivative suits, securities law violations, breach of fiduciary duty by C-suite executives, renewable energy disputes and multinational sales agreements. He also serves as an adjunct professor at the University of Houston Law School, teaching classes in International Arbitration and International Risk Management in Oil Field Services.
