BakerHostetler’s Philadelphia office and the Emerging Companies and Venture Capital practice team hosted the 7th Annual Philly Hardware Meetup: MedTech Edition for the medical device development community. Partner Jeff Rosedale co-organized and Partner Rakesh Mehta co-hosted the Sept. 25, 2024, event, which was the latest in a series that was developed to build a strong community within members of the hardware startup ecosystem who are dedicated to maintaining businesses with high-quality physical products.
The event featured guest speakers Eric Sugalski, founder and CEO of Archimedic; and Det Ansinn, CEO of Neuralert Technologies and founder of BrickSimple, who shared their origin stories and offered insights on lessons they learned from building hardware products and startup companies.A Q&A session ended the evening.
Also in attendance were Associate William Kehoe and Patent Agent Elizabeth Browning.
