Partner Peter Roskam discussed the upcoming expiration dates for certain provisions in the Tax Cuts and Jobs Act in an article for Agenda titled “Boards Need to ‘Make Themselves Heard’ on Expiring Tax Benefits” and encouraged company boards of directors to monitor them to see how their businesses might be impacted. In the article, published Jan. 10, 2025, Roskam also opined that coming to agreements on these provisions might be contentious, even with a Republican-controlled Congress.
