Partner Jeewon Serrato is speaking on Sept. 23 at the California Lawyers Association 2023 annual meeting in San Diego. She will take part in a panel discussion titled "Can ChatGPT Do That? How to Embed Human Values into AI: A Lawyer’s Guide to Privacy, Ethics and Software Development."
Serrato and her co-panelists will discuss emerging data privacy laws that are affecting the use of artificial intelligence in the U.S. and globally, as well as regulations of the use of automated decision-making and digital surveillance. They will also consider how businesses can embed human values and ethics into AI-powered software.
