CIO Katherine Lowry and Partners James Sherer, Theresa Weisenberger and Nichole Sterling have authored a commentary titled “Practical Advice for Internal Artificial Intelligence Policy Development.” It was published in the October issue of Mealey’s Litigation Report: Artificial Intelligence.
The authors write that establishing a “functional definition of AI” is a crucial first step for organizations. Then, they can begin to assess "what role AI plays in their business and can develop a policy that aligns their goals and the various legal and ethical considerations impacted by AI.”
