Partner Marco Molina and Alexandra Trujillo filed an enforcement action for Nicaragua that is discussed in a Global Arbitration Review article titled “Nicaragua Chases Failed ICSID Claimants for Costs.” Published May 30, 2024, the article discusses the ICSID award that required a group of U.S. investors to pay $1.5 million following an unsuccessful treaty claim over a terminated oil and gas concession and how Nicaragua is attempting to collect it.
