Partner Lynn Sessions and Associate Stefanie Ferrari have been selected as winners of the 2025 Burton Award, a national honor for the finest law firm writers from the nation’s top 1,000 largest law firms. The Burton Awards, founded in 1999 by the Burton Foundation, is a national 501(c)(3) non-profit program run in association with the Library of Congress and presented by lead sponsor Law360. Sessions and Ferrari are being recognized for their article “Got Pixels? The Regulatory and Legal Implications of the Use of Third-Party Technologies on Health Care Websites,” which was originally published in the Journal of Health and Life Sciences.
Articles were reviewed by the Burton Awards Academic Board, which included individuals from Harvard Law School, Georgetown Law Center, UC Berkeley School of Law and the Library of Congress, as well as the founder and chair of the event, William C. Burton. The winning authors from 20 firms will be celebrated at an awards ceremony at the Library of Congress, May 19, 2025, with former Nightline anchor Ted Koppel serving as Master of Ceremonies.
