Partner Daniel Lula is representing Royalty Carpet Mills in a closely watched case before the California Supreme Court that concerns “whether trial judges can split up claims under a unique state labor law, an attempt to resolve a split among state appellate courts about how large cases should be managed,” according to a Nov. 8 Bloomberg Law article titled “California Top Court Weighs How to Split Big Labor Law Cases (1)” (subscription required).
