Partner Kevin Edgar has submitted a letter on Dec. 10, 2024, to the Commissioner for Financial Services and the Savings and Investments Union and the Director-General of the Financial Stability, Financial Services and Capital Markets Union, both in Brussels to request that the European Commission exempt financial services firms and market infrastructures that are regulated outside the EU from the Digital Operational Resilience Act when it becomes effective on Jan. 17, 2025.
