While a great deal of attention is given to FTC Chair Lina Khan’s efforts on matters pertaining to antitrust, the changes she has brought to consumer protection have also been considerable. Kaufman and his co-panelists – three other former leaders of the Federal Trade Commission’s Bureau of Consumer Protection – will discuss how the agency is faring in this arena, addressing multiple rulemakings, the aggressive use of unfairness and more stringent remedies.
