Chief Information Officer Katherine Lowry, Partner James Sherer and Associate Ariana Dindiyal were quoted in “How Employers Rise to the New Challenges of AI and the Needs of Their Employees,” published Dec. 15, 2023, by Thomson Reuters. The article shared BakerHostetler’s efforts to integrate AI into the practice of law through its Emerging Technology practice and IncuBaker program, while remaining deliberative about adopting the technology.

Lowry emphasized that, although new features are constantly being developed, BakerHostetler is taking its time to determine what works best for the firm and its clients. Sherer opined that the human element and regular audits are necessary as companies become more tech-focused, and Dindiyal pointed out that AI is still very much in the exploratory phase, making it difficult to pinpoint where and how it will be used for cases.
