Partners Jonathan Pressment and Christos Papapetrou obtained summary judgment for firm client DIRECTV in a multimillion-dollar breach of contract claim in the New York State Supreme Court Commercial Division.
The Court’s decision “properly concluded that Nexstar breached the terms of its retransmission consent agreement with DIRECTV and that Nexstar’s counterclaims were without merit,” Papapetrou and Pressment said, adding that they “look forward to continuing to represent DIRECTV on its remaining claims against Nexstar in the action.”
