Associate Jarvarus Gresham is among the noteworthy creators, innovators, leaders and entrepreneurs selected as 2024 Georgia State University 40 Under 40 honorees. The program annually celebrates the most impactful Georgia State graduates who embody the values of the university. “These exceptional Georgia State alumni are standouts in their respective fields, leaders in their communities and outstanding ambassadors for Georgia State University,” said GSU President M. Brian Blake. “Through their dedication, creativity, innovation and accomplishment, they shine a spotlight on the great potential that’s inside every Panther.”
At GSU, Gresham – a 2019 graduate – serves on the Law Alumni Council, mentors law school students and chairs the school’s student relations committee. He is co-chair of the Black Law Students Association’s 40th Anniversary Gala for the College of Law and serves as an adjunct professor teaching Lawyering Advocacy, a litigation-based practical skills course. Gresham takes pride in being the namesake of the Atlanta Bar Association’s Jarvarus A. Gresham Grit Award for the Summer Law Internship Program (SLIP). He took part in SLIP as a high school student and cites it as changing the trajectory of his life.
An award ceremony will be held March 22 at the GSU Convocation Center.
