Carl Hittinger coauthored a piece for The Legal Intelligencer on class certification, entitled "Experts Can Turn Tide in Class Certification." In light of the recent Behrend v. Comcast Corp. decision, Hittinger examines the role that expert witnesses can play in class action certification and decisions, advising parties that are defending antitrust class actions to be "well armed with convincing expert witnesses," as class certification can depend upon the statements made by these experts.
