Partner Bethany Lukitsch participated in the Food and Drug Law Institute’s Food Advertising, Labeling and Litigation Conference on Sept. 28, which took place in Washington, D.C., and online.
Titled "Unsubscribe? Data Privacy Litigation Risks and Potential Implications for Manufacturers and Retailers," her panel examined new litigation risks that food and supplement companies face as a result of the increase in online shopping. Lukitsch and her co-panelists offered an overview of data privacy litigation, discussed recent cases and shared best practices companies can implement to mitigate their risk.
