Partner Eric Barnum will serve as a panelist during the Metropolitan Black Bar Association’s Honorable Theodore T. Jones, Jr. Trial Advocacy Program, held Jan. 26, 2024, at BakerHostetler’s New York office. Past program topics have focused on developing a theme; bringing your authentic self to trial; implicit bias in jury selection; current juror trends admission of evidence; ethics and cybersecurity in trial practice, and the rise of AI in trials.

The Metropolitan Black Bar Association was created in 1984 with the merger of the Harlem Lawyers Association and the Bedford Stuyvesant Lawyers Association and has a membership of mostly Black and minority attorneys from large and small law firms. The memberships also reflect solo practitioners and attorneys from all levels of government, academia, corporations, financial institutions, not-for-profit organizations and the judiciary.
