Partners David Proaño and Glenn Benson will present at the 28th annual Ohio Energy Savings & Management Conference held in Columbus on Feb. 27-28, 2024. Proaño will take part in sessions focused on “Significant Developments Impacting Electric Rates & Smart Grid Technology” for FirstEnergy, Duke Energy Ohio, AEP Ohio (Ohio Power Company) and AES Ohio Dayton Power & Light, while Benson will participate in “PJM: Valuable Insight into PJM’s Proposed Capacity Market Reforms Filed with FERC and How its Energy and Capacity Markets Operate.”
Proaño will also serve as a panelist for a session titled “Powering the Future of Ohio’s Economy…Priceless Insights on the Ohio Electricity Marketplace; the Transition to Renewable Generation Resources; Grid Reliability; Rising Transmission Costs; Smart Grid & Advanced Technologies; and Other Major Developments Impacting Electric Generation, Transmission and Rates.” Both Proaño and Benson will participate in a roundtable session, “Ohio’s Natural Gas Utilities: Valuable Insights on Prices, What Large Energy End Users Can Expect in the Future and Ohio’s Natural Gas Market Structure and Outlook…Ohio Energy Leadership Council’s Roundtable.”
