Cybersecurity and data privacy increasingly affect lawyers and the personal information held by legal departments and law firms. Reflecting the importance of understanding and being able to mitigate the risks associated with data protection, all lawyers licensed in New York are now required to obtain at least one CLE credit in Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection as part of their biennial CLE requirement. This CLE program is designed to provide you with the CLE credit you need for the Cybersecurity, Privacy and Data Protection – Ethics credit in New York. This CLE may alternatively fulfill your Ethics CLE requirement in New York and other states.

- Risks and privacy implications for lawyers
- Protecting confidential data
- Supervising others with access to confidential data
