Partner Brian Song is being honored by the National Asian Pacific American Bar Association (NAPABA) with its 2023 Military and Veteran Service Award.

Each year, NAPABA recognizes lawyers and organizations that play a positive role in the legal profession and the Asian American, Native Hawaiian and Pacific Islander (AANHPI) community. NAPABA’s Military and Veteran Service Award honors an AANHPI legal professional who demonstrates the highest integrity, competence and commitment to serving others, the community and the country.

Song served in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General's Corps while on active duty and continues to do so in the Army Reserves. He is currently a lieutenant colonel, serving as regional defense counsel with the 22nd Legal Operations Detachment, U.S. Army Trial Defense Service.

He will be celebrated along with this year’s other NAPABA award honorees at the organization’s convention, which runs Nov. 9-12 in Indianapolis.
