Partner Brian Davis co-chaired a panel titled “Direct and Indirect Taxes and Supply Chains” at the IBA/ABA 24th Annual U.S. and Europe Tax Practice Trends Conference, held April 10-12, 2024, in Munich, Germany. The panel explored the topics and issues of interest to tax professionals when working with or restructuring supply chains, including operating models, direct and indirect tax nexus standards, excise and custom duty issues, how certain factors may influence analysis and recent tax administration and case law highlights.
