Partner Barbara Linney will co-chair the ABA’s 2024 ILS Fall Conference as well as moderate a panel titled “Legal Ethics, the Rule of Law, and Sanctions Policy and Practice Against a Backdrop of National Security Concerns” when the conference takes place Nov. 13-15, 2024, in London, England. The panel will focus on legal ethics and the rule of law within the context of sanctions, cooperation among regulators, the impact of sanctions on legal representation of sanctioned parties and whether such parties have access to justice, a fair trial and due process.
