The National Legal Aid & Defender Association (NLADA) has selected BakerHostetler as a 2023 Beacon of Justice Award recipient in recognition of the commitment to equal justice we demonstrate through our pro bono efforts.
According to Ted Jacobs, leader of BakerHostetler’s LGBTQ Affinity Group, “This award recognizes the work done by attorneys across our firm supporting LGBTQ rights, and the partnerships we maintain with several leading LGBTQ nonprofit organizations.”
NLADA has been at the forefront of creative solutions on access to justice for over a century and is leading a national response to racial equity.
Its Beacon of Justice Award recognizes pro bono work conducted during 2022 that supports the LGBTQ+ community and promotes gender and racial equity. NLADA says BakerHostetler has clearly demonstrated leadership on these vital issues – and we are committed to continue working on behalf of people with diverse backgrounds and experiences who are seeking justice.
