Partners Dan Warren, Gil Keteltas, Lisa Ghannoum, Dante Marinucci and Kyle Cutts have been recognized as Law360 Legal Lions of the Week for helping persuade a three-judge panel of the Fourth Circuit Court of Appeals to decertify eight classes of “potentially millions” of Marriott International Inc. guests.
The multidistrict litigation concerned a major data breach at Marriott’s Starwood-branded hotels. The Fourth Circuit panel found that a lower court “hadn’t properly ‘considered the import’ of a class action waiver signed by all guests,” according to Law360’s Aug. 25 article.
