About Fertig’s practice
Fertig is a widely accomplished litigator with extensive experience counseling businesses in complex disputes, both in state and federal courts around the country and in domestic and international arbitrations. His multidisciplinary practice spans the full spectrum of commercial litigation and arbitration for clients across an array of industries, with specialties including matters involving contracts, IP, fraud and other business torts; antitrust law; labor and employment law; bankruptcy and restructuring; real estate; and insurance. Fertig also regularly counsels corporate clients and their senior executives on governance issues and risk avoidance and mitigation.
Upon graduating law school, Fertig clerked as an intern for the Hon. Denise L. Cote of the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of New York. He also interned in the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of New York.
Fertig received his B.A. from Princeton University and his J.D. from Brooklyn Law School.
