A deal team that included Partners Steven Goldberg, Bryan Wasser and Associate Matthew Gases helped advise Atlanta-based private equity firm Roark Capital Group, Inc., in its acquisition of quick service restaurants Subway after the company experienced three exceptional years of sales growth and positive global net restaurant growth for the first time since 2016. Also assisting were Partners Taylor Bloom, Joel Griswold, Sabrina Shadi, Nichole Sterling and Victoria Weatherford. Moving forward, there are no anticipated changes to Subway’s leadership team, strategic focus or operating plans.
