Partner Elise Barajas and Counsel Sarah Browning have co-authored a chapter in “Health Care Contracts: A Clause-By-Clause Guide to Drafting and Negotiation,” a new title published by the American Health Law Association (AHLA).
Barajas and Browning wrote Chapter 4, which focuses on representations and warranties – vital elements found in most contracts. Among many other topics, the authors address how representations and warranties function and offer examples as to their use in healthcare, touching on representations and warranties insurance as a risk mitigation tool.
