Partner Analía González will participate on a panel titled “The Crisis of Investment Arbitration: What’s Next?” at the 2025 J.B. and Maurice C. Shapiro Environmental Law Symposium, March 20, 2025, in Washington, D.C. The panel will focus on the challenges of protecting the environment, as well as an overview of international investment law and the trend to integrate environmental values into arbitration between states and foreign investors.

With the theme “Foreign Investment and the Environment: Local Communities, Human Rights and Dispute Resolution,” this year’s symposium seeks to address the intersection of environmental protection, human rights and foreign investment in view of arbitration between foreign investors and host states.
