Partner Alyse Stach will take part in a panel titled “Wolf at the Door: Balancing Privileges, Cooperation and Other Considerations During Investigations of Corporate Clients” at the International Association of Defense Counsel Midyear Meeting, which will be held Feb. 9-14, 2025, in Dana Point, California. The panel will discuss the refocus by the Department of Justice on prosecuting corporate criminal activity and will cover:
- Protecting corporate clients when conducting internal investigations
- Balancing attorney-client privilege with cooperation credit when your client is being investigated
- Securing cooperation credit and maintaining privileges when representing corporate clients
